Chennai-based electric vehicle startup Raptee HV has introduced its new electric motorcycle, the T30, priced at Rs 2.39 lakh (ex-showroom). This model is designed to compete with traditional 250-230cc internal combustion engine bikes, as well as electric rivals like the Tork Kratos and Ultraviolette F77. The T30 comes in two variants, the T30 and T30 Sport, both available at the same price.

Deliveries are set to begin in January 2025, initially targeting Chennai and Bangalore, with plans to expand based on demand. Interested buyers can pre-book the motorcycle for a nominal fee of Rs 1,000 on the company’s website.

Raptee T30: A Masterpiece in Design and Features

The Raptee T30 boasts a sleek design with sharp lines, a diamond-shaped headlamp, and a split-seat setup featuring stylish grab rails. Key features include a 7-inch touchscreen display that supports Bluetooth connectivity, GPS navigation, and over-the-air (OTA) updates. The bike will be available in four colors: Arctic White, Eclipse Black, Mercury Grey, and Horizon Red.

Raptee T30: Power and Range Redefined

The T30 is powered by a 22 kW electric motor that delivers a peak torque of 70 Nm, achieving a top speed of 135 km/h. It can accelerate from 0 to 60 km/h in just 3.5 seconds and offers three riding modes: Comfort, Power, and Sprint. The 5.4 kWh battery pack provides a real-world range of 150 km (200 km IDC) on a single charge and supports CCS2 charging, making it compatible with over 13,500 charging stations across India. This means it can be charged using the same charger as an electric car.
