PM Vishwakarma Yojana Benefits

Enrolled in Pm Vishwakarma Yojana artisans can get plenty benefits these are as follows:

Credit Support

Eligible artisans can receive a loan of up to ₹300,000 at a minimum interest rate of 5%. This loan will be provided in two installments. After completing their recommended training, they will qualify for credit support of ₹100,000 with an 18-month repayment period. If they demonstrate responsible repayment behavior, the credit limit can be increased to ₹300,000 with a repayment period of 30 months. This initiative is designed to help artisans grow their businesses.

Training Support

In Pm Vishwakarma Yojana The artisans will receive free of cost 5-7 days basic and interested people 15 days advanced training to upskill their creativity. 

Toolkit Incentive 

Craftspeople who will complete their basic or advanced label training, will eligible to get ₹ 15,000 toolkit incentive to perform their work more efficiently buying a new tool. They will get this amount in voucher form redeemable at registered toolkit shop.

Daily Stipend

In the PM Vishwakarma Yojana, artisans will receive a daily stipend of ₹500 during their training period. This support is crucial because many artisans come from the unorganized sector and work as daily wage laborers. If they participate in the training program, they would lose their daily wages. 1% Digital Transaction Cashback

More Eligibility Criteria 

Including 18 trades artisans should must meet following criteria to enroll in PM Vishwakarma Yojana:

  • Age: Applicants should be at least 18 years old at the time of registration.
  • Occupation: The applicant should be an artisan or craftsman engaged in one of the 18 specified traditional trades. These trades include carpentry, blacksmithing, pottery, and more.
  • Unorganized Sector: Eligible candidates must be working in the unorganized sector, primarily through self-employment and using traditional tools.
  • Family Enrollment: Only one member from a family can enroll in the scheme, which includes spouses and unmarried children.
  • Employment Status: The beneficiary and their family members should not be government employees.
